Current Level of Accessibility
The site was built with accessibility principles in mind. Adaptations made on the site include:
- Standard semantic structure — clear heading hierarchy, landmarks for navigation
- Full keyboard navigation — all interface elements are accessible without a mouse
- Visible focus indication on all interactive elements
- Alternative text for images and media
- Form errors are displayed with clear, announced descriptions
- Screen reader support — hidden headings, live ARIA announcements
- "Skip to main content" button to bypass repeated navigation
- Built-in accessibility menu with 8 options: text size, high contrast, link highlighting, readable font, stop animations, grayscale, increased spacing, and day mode
- Accessibility preferences are saved for your next visit
- All videos are embedded with accessible titles
- Contrast ratios meet WCAG AA requirements (at least 4.5:1 for regular text)
- The site is displayed in LTR direction suited to English
Known Limitations
- Vimeo videos embedded on the site — their accessibility is subject to the Vimeo platform's own accessibility
- The photo gallery does not include detailed natural-language descriptions for every image
Assistive Technologies Tested
The site was tested with the following combinations:
- NVDA + Chrome (Windows)
- VoiceOver + Safari (macOS and iOS)
- TalkBack + Chrome (Android)
- Keyboard-only navigation — Chrome, Firefox, Safari
